About: Prince of Wales Hospital

(as the patient),

I had a prostate surgery at POW Urology theatre. My dissatisfaction wasn't about the procedure but the nurse I encountered after my procedure. The nurse was a casual and I felt they didn't care about me or my wound dressing. They were rough and needed to be more caring and professional. When my spouse went to speak to the nurse, they were napping and when my spouse got their attention, I understand they were snappy.

My dressings were not done good from this nurse. I showed my GP the dressing and I believe he wasn't impressed with it either. I have now experienced a ward where every nurse and staff member shows compassion and professionalism. It's restored my faith in patient care.
