From birth, I had a lot of issues with recurring nipple thrush and staph infections. I came to the Breastfeeding Centre to get help after experiencing so much pain with breastfeeding. Based on my experience I can highly recommend the Breastfeeding Centre of WA. The support, care, and reassurance I received during such an overwhelming stage of motherhood made a huge difference to me and my baby, and we were able to overcome these issues with the help of the amazing lactation consultants at KEMH.

A huge thank you to Carly and Jane, who are truly amazing lactation consultants. Their knowledge, patience, kindness, and encouragement helped me feel so supported. They took the time to listen, answer every question, and provide advice to help my baby latch correctly, as well as test for and treat the nipple thrush. I walked out of the appointments feeling so supported and confident in my ability to breastfeed, and I have now found love and enjoyment in breastfeeding my baby after those painful first weeks. These two women are absolutely amazing!
