I received care as part of the RITH program.
I had six weeks of physiotherapy. I had two ladies, one was called Olivia and the other I couldn't pronounce her name properly, I think it was Nila. Both of them were very good. Unfortunately for both of them, whenever they came for my physio my blood pressure was high, so we could only do certain things and had to take it lightly because they didn't want to overdo it.
My major person was James, and he was excellent. He came consistently twice a week and was really brilliant. I wouldn't hesitate to put his name forward. He gave me confidence, helped me considerably.
On one occasion, my blood pressure was so high James called an ambulance. My husband was not home at the time, so James went to get my husband, I was very grateful that he did, it was so kind of him – above and beyond.
He managed to get me through the six weeks and also organised for a senior person above him to come and help try to work out some way of managing my blood pressure so I could continue progressing.
James doesn't come now and I've been referred to SCGH Hospital for physiotherapy, but I just wanted to say thank you. He was delightful and I couldn't recommend him more highly.
