"Urgent care attendance"

I was admitted with a fractured patella to Leongatha hospital early May 2026, staff were helpful, respectful,  cheerful. The atmosphere was a bit like a  happy family, less stressful than LRH, l enjoy my visits there when l have occasion to use their service, and that's always down to the staff on duty, their attitude, dedication and knowledge.

I am very proactive with my health and even as an older woman l am not patronised and this is important, when discussing my reason for attending or asking for assistance. 

Staff are also obliging if l request a sandwich or drink after being treated. 

I was kept overnight as being Sunday the xray wasn't open. In the morning l was in xray not long after it opened and once the results were clear l was fitted with a leg brace, given  list of care instructions and exercises, by the physio attendant.

In my opinion Leongatha urgent care department is tops for service and treatment.
