"Signage at the hospital"

About: Narrogin Health Service

(as a service user),

I believe Narrogin Hospital signage needs updating.

The roadside signs are badly sun damaged and very hard to read. I was trying to find Pathwest and tried 2 different entries before I found the front desk to be directed further inside the hospital. No Pathwest signs on the road entry or the building.

I wonder how many people know what Ambulatory Care means? Big entryway for that like it is the main hospital access, but it seems to be for outpatients and possibly allied health.

Very frustrating.

Dear composeren55,

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding the hospital signage.

We are sorry to hear that you experienced difficulty locating the pathology service. We appreciate you bringing to our attention that the roadside directional sign has become sun damaged and difficult to read. Clear and accessible wayfinding is important to us, and we understand how frustrating it can be when signage does not adequately assist visitors in finding their destination. Your feedback has been forwarded to the relevant team for assessment and consideration as part of our ongoing maintenance and improvement of hospital facilities.

Thank you again for helping us identify this issue. Feedback such as yours assists us in improving the experience of patients, visitors and community members accessing our services.

Kind regards

Kristie Nottle
