About: Perth Children's Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter burnt her fingers on a gas heater last week. I took her to emergency at Perth Children's Hospital and she received treatment within four hours. We took her to the burns unit at Perth Children’s Hospital for three follow up appointments and her fingers are now healed. We received such wonderful care and are very grateful.

Dear oriontz96

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us.

We are sorry to hear about your daughter’s injury, and very pleased to know that she received timely care in our Emergency Department, with follow-up in the Burns Unit supporting her to make a full recovery. It is especially reassuring to hear that you and your family felt well supported every step of the way.

Your kind feedback will be shared with the teams involved. Messages like yours mean a great deal to our staff and help recognise the care, skill and compassion they bring to their work every day.

Thank you again for sharing your experience. We wish your daughter all the very best as she continues to recover.

Best wishes

Ellen
