"A really good team"

About: Bunbury Hospital

(as the patient),

I went into Bunbury Hospital a couple of weeks ago, and when I came out my sugar levels were sky high. The diabetic team were amazing and they sent me on to their clinic and outpatients, where I saw Emma.

She’s very young and I think she’s applying for a permanent position, and she is just amazing, absolutely amazing. She has helped me through my recent diagnosis of diabetes and I think she’s doing a wonderful job. The ladies from the hospital as well they came for a visit last week to her office to talk dietary, food and everything, did an amazing job. The dietitian team came and saw me with Emma and gave me advice on what to eat, and I really want them to know how good they are.

I can’t think of the dietitian’s name, but the dietitian who came out was fantastic as well, and the lady in the hospital, maybe Tanya or Taylor, was amazing. I was so stressed out and they were wonderful.

Bunbury Hospital do an amazing job. I’ve been dealing with them for over four years, and longer with my cancer diagnosis, and I cannot fault them one bit. They have a really good team in Bunbury.

Dear hydracd83,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such thoughtful and positive feedback about your experience with Bunbury Hospital.

We are delighted to hear that you felt supported during what sounds like a very stressful time, and that the diabetes team, outpatient staff, and dietitian were able to provide care that made a real difference to you. Your kind words about Emma and the wider team are especially appreciated, and we will ensure this feedback is shared with them directly. It is always encouraging for our staff to know that their care and dedication are making a positive impact.

We are also pleased to hear that the dietary advice and follow-up support were helpful in managing your recent diagnosis. Providing coordinated, person-centred care is very important to us, and it’s wonderful to know this was reflected in your experience.

Thank you again for your continued trust in Bunbury Hospital over the years. We wish you all the very best with your ongoing care and health.

Kind regards,

Adrian Clarke
