I have had Tongue cancer twice 1st time in 2017 the 2nd in 2025 treated both times in Prince of Wales Randwick Sydney Head and Neck Clinic.
The first time the treatment was Radiation and Chemo. The second time in 2025 was an operation removing around half of the rear of my tongue and replacing with the part of my muscle from my right thigh.
The doctor and nurses, Specialist nurses and Hospital staff were brilliant, excellent, caring and loverly people whilst in hospital for my long stay (nearly 4 months).
I have only 1 concern that it took nearly 5 month to see the Lymphoedema specialist nurse, there seems to be only 1 hospital with this special service, only in St George Hospital and not in a major hospital like Prince of Wales.
Would the management ever consider having a Lymphoedema specialist nurse at Prince of Wales.
