"Midwifery care"

About: Sale Hospital / Women's and Children's

(as the patient),

I called the ward due to an incident that occurred and I wasn’t sure if I should be worried. I ended up needing to go in for monitoring.

I would like to mention Ash in particular. She is an incredible asset to the midwifery team, nothing asked was ever a stupid question and you can tell she genuinely loves her job. She explained everything thoroughly and in a way that was easy to understand. She made sure I understood and that any questions I had were answered. She made me feel at ease and upon leaving I knew what to expect and when I needed to be concerned going forward.

Dear statusww79,

My name is Kellie Gartung and I am one of the Nurse Unit Managers of the Women’s and Children's Unit at CGH.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely message about your recent experience on our ward. My team appreciate your positive words and feel very privileged to have been a part of your pregnancy journey.

We always strive to provide professional and women-centred care, and its wonderful to hear that our team and Ash were able to provide such a positive experience.

I have shared your lovely feedback with Ash and all our team, which I know they appreciated.

Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

Kind Regards,

Kellie Gartung
