About: Albany Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

Taking a relative to Albany Health Campus Emergency Department  with numerous health issues and limited mobility after a fall, we were treated very well by friendly professional staff who mostly introduced themselves explaining their role and treatment plan. I think this introduction  is so important as many who present to the ED are anxious to say the least. The doctor involved was very professional and efficient and the outcome was very successful.

Dear correspondencewz98

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Albany Health Campus Emergency Department.

We are pleased to hear that your relative was treated with professionalism, care and respect following their fall. It is wonderful to know that our staff were friendly, took the time to introduce themselves, explain their roles and discuss the treatment plan. We agree that clear communication is especially important in the Emergency Department, where patients and families can often be feeling anxious and uncertain.

We will also be sure to share your kind words with the medical team involved. It is encouraging to hear that the doctor provided efficient and professional care, and that your relative achieved a successful outcome.

Thank you again for your feedback. Positive experiences such as yours are valuable in recognising the dedication and compassion of our staff, and we appreciate you taking the time to acknowledge their efforts.

Yours sincerely,

Kate Hambleton

District Director Lower Great Southern
