"RHD treatment"

About: Halls Creek Community Health Service

(as a service user),

I received a phone call from OVAS informing me that my RHD needle was due, I told OVAS that I was on my way to Halls Creek. I received a phone call from a nurse at Halls Creek Community Health, asking me to come into the clinic for my monthly RHD needle, I said I would come in on the following day, however I didn't make it in because my grandparent had passed away.

I attended Halls Creek Community Health around 5 days later and I spoke to the receptionist who asked me to wait. I was sitting around for 30 minutes and left.

I came in a few days after that, and the receptionist was attempting to find a nurse to help, but no one was available at that time.

I came back in on the following morning and all the nurses were in community.

I felt frustrated, angry and let down.

I received a phone call a few days later from Community Health at 10:20 requesting that I come in for my needle. I told the nurse that I was on my way in, but that I would see the Dr as I already had an appointment that I had made at 08:20 myself, and that I didn't want to see anyone from Community Health.

I feel like I had tried so many times to come in, and the communication wasn't clear.
