I had a telehealth appointment with RPH Orthopaedics at midday. I had taken time off of work to attend this appointment and showed up early to ensure I wasn't late for the doctors. Unfortunately, they were running slightly behind and the hospital nurses who were running the telehealth clinic advised me of that. After about one hour of waiting, I advised the telehealth staff that I had to leave as I had other things to do during the day. I received a call from the Orthopaedic RMO about 30 minutes later who gave me some general advice and told me to follow up at my six week appointment. I felt like my time wasn't valued and a time delay could probably have been communicated earlier or I could have been seen by an Orthopaedic Nurse who would have provided the same information.
