"Amazing care"

About: Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

I took my son to SCGH emergency dept following a dislocated shoulder. The care and attention was amazing and the staff were fantastic. Their attention and care for my son was just perfect. The ED staff were under a lot of pressure but they managed it in a very professional way. Thank you

Dear aurigadh76,

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience with Sir Charles Gairdner Hospitals Emergency Department.

I am pleased to receive your kind feedback regarding the care and treatment provided to your son, following his dislocated shoulder. I understand that attending the Emergency Department can be a stressful and worrying time for both patients and their families, and it is wonderful to hear that our staff were able to provide such attentive, compassionate, and professional care.

Your comments acknowledging the team's dedication, particularly during a busy period, are greatly appreciated and it will be my pleasure to share this with the team. Our Emergency Department staff work hard to deliver safe, high-quality care in a challenging and fast-paced environment, and it is always encouraging for them to receive recognition from patients and families.

Thank you again for your kind comments.

Warm regards,

Peter McEwen

A/Executive Director, SCGOPHCG
