"Leongatha Hospital"

Following an Aged Care Assessment allowing me to remain in my home & retain my independence, is very important.

The best result from many professionals identified in the assessment, was a home visit from Occupational Therapist, Bessie, of Leongatha Hospital.

From the outset, Bessie is warm, kind & thorough. Her manner is professional, her delivery clear & proficient & information structured well.

I say this as an aged person with poor memory retention, poor hearing, & one who often loses track in one's own discussion, let alone other's. Not once did I need to say "I beg your pardon", not once did I ask for information to be simplified, nor explained.

I was struck with Bessie's preparedness for her visit. Her call in plenty of time to ensure all's well to attend. Her presence of mind providing documentation, illustrative brochures, & examples of beneficial equipment.

I could not praise Bessie more highly!

To thank her for her time & presentation falls short of adjectives. I am immensely grateful.

Without doubt, I believe, Bessie is a perfect example of her profession, a worthy colleague, one who is important & valuable to all whose paths are crossed.

Bessie I think you are a credit to the organisation you represent. I trust they value you as much as I do.
