"Xray Department very friendly and accommodating"

About: Margaret River Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

I took my 6yr old son into ED in Margaret River with an injury to his shoulder. It was just after hours as injuries always seem to happen and my son was seen to straight away with very friendly staff members and even though Brendon the Xray man had gone home for the day, he came back to see us and was very nice and friendly.

Thankyou very much to the whole Margaret River ED Department but also to Brendon for not making me feel bad for bringing my son in after hours. It makes a big difference to us as we all know once we go home we don’t really love heading back to the office and he did not make me feel like we were a hindrance at all. We were sorted out so quickly and I feel every time I have been the ED Department we don’t have to wait long at all. Thankyou again, we are grateful you always make it easier on us parents too.

Dear Not known,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind feedback.

We are delighted to hear that your son received prompt, compassionate care when he attended the Margaret River Emergency Department. We know how stressful it can be when a child is injured, especially after hours, and it is wonderful to hear that our team helped make that experience a little easier for you and your family.

We will be sure to pass on your special thanks to Brendon. Returning after finishing for the day to ensure your son received the care he needed reflects the dedication and kindness that our staff strive to show every day. I'm so pleased that he made you feel supported and reassured during what was undoubtedly a worrying time.

Your comments about the friendliness, professionalism and efficiency of our Emergency Department team mean a great deal. Our staff work hard to provide timely, patient-centred care, and it is always encouraging to hear when their efforts have made a positive difference.

Thank you again for your thoughtful words. We are grateful that you chose to share your experience, and we wish your son a speedy and full recovery.

Kind regards,

Sandy Znidrasich
