"Open heart surgery at POW"

About: POWH Cardiac Rehabilitation Program Prince of Wales Hospital / DB3N - Cardiology Ward Prince of Wales Hospital / PB1W - General Rehabilitation Unit

(as the patient),

I had a replacement and a repair of two valves. I found the staff incredibly professional, helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone was positive and friendly including the catering and cleaning staff. I participated in the 2 rehabilitation programs and found them of great help. The rehabilitation staff were fantastic, enthusiastic and helpful. I have a habit of talking to everyone and found that the vast majority of patients held similar views to mine about the staff. Yet one patient and their spouse that I met in the ICU had nothing nice to say about the staff. I cannot believe that they were referring to the great staff that looked after me.
