"Failed instructions to Medical staff"

About: Hollywood Private Hospital

(as a partner),

I told the anaesthetist no opiates for my disabled spouse. The anaesthetist acknowledged that. Five days later I found out by chance not only had my spouse been charted the opiates they had been receiving them for 5 days. Anaesthetist ( via another doctor)  couldn't explain why they had been charted as "usual meds from home". No contact, no apology from anaesthetist. I then after 1.5 weeks found out again accidentally that my spouse had also been charted another opiate by same anaesthetist. Again, no explanation, apology or contact.

I understand mistakes happen. What I feel is entirely unforgivable and unprofessional is that we received no contact at all from the responsible doctor, let alone an apology.
