"Emergency department visit"

About: Apex Radiology- Bunbury Bunbury Hospital

(as the patient),

I recently attended Apex Radiology for an MRI however ended up getting an anaphalactic reaction to the pre-med.

The staff were very prompt in their response to my medical emergency and throughout the ED admission, all the staff members were very professional and kind.

Dear stonese32,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

I was very sorry to hear of the anaphylactic reaction you experienced while in Radiology and sincerely hope that you have now made a full recovery.

Our Medical Emergency Response Team and Emergency Department staff are highly skilled in managing situations such as these, and I was pleased to learn that you felt supported throughout your care. It is always encouraging to hear that our teams were able to provide timely and compassionate assistance during what must have been a frightening experience.

I will be sure to pass your feedback on to the staff involved, who will be grateful for your recognition of their efforts.

I wish you continued good health and all the best for the future.

Kind regards,

Karen Horsley
Service Co-Director
