"My midwife - Caylin (Osborne Park Hospital)"

About: Osborne Park Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I couldn’t recommend my midwife highly enough. She was such a caring, compassionate and reassuring presence throughout my entire pregnancy journey. She was incredibly thorough, always took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel comfortable and supported at every appointment.

I really appreciated how knowledgeable and attentive she was, while still making everything feel calm and personal. I always felt that I was in safe hands and that both my baby and I were genuinely cared for.

I’m so grateful to have had her support throughout such an important (and daunting!) time in my life!

Dear cygnusyt94,

Thank you for completing a care opinion story about your wonderful midwife Caylin who you were assigned with the Midwifery Antenatal Postnatal Service (MAPS) at Osborne Park Hospital. You are right, pregnancy can be a very daunting time! So it was wonderful to read that the compassionate, reassuring and attentive care Caylin provided allowed you to feel comfortable and well supported throughout your pregnancy.

Your story highlights the amazing benefits of the MAPS program, pairing women with one midwife to provide almost all antenatal care, education, and postnatal support ensuring the care provided can be tailored to each individual patient during such an important and personal moment in their life.

I will be sure to pass on your story to Caylin and share it with the wider MAPS team.

Kind regards,

Karen
