"Care and attention at Dalwalinu Hospital"

About: Dalwallinu Health Service / Emergency Department

(as a carer),

On Saturday 22nd August 2026 my has husband had 3 fainting spells in the morning.  As we were due to drive back from Dalwalinu to Perth WA I took him straight to Dalwalinu Hospital.  Our experience from start to finish was excellent.  The 2 nurses on duty - Nancy and Chinu were wonderful in their care and attention.  My husband was tested and taken care of in a kind and caring way.  Also the Telehealth Doctor was also wonderful and very thorough.  Both my husband and myself, are very grateful for the wonderful care and attention that we received.

Thank you so much to Dalwalinu Hospital, Western Australia.

Dear T-from-Perth

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about the care your husband received at Dalwallinu Hospital.

We are pleased to hear that your experience was excellent from start to finish during what must have been a very concerning situation. It is wonderful to know that Nancy and Chinu provided kind, attentive and compassionate care, ensuring your husband felt well supported while he was being assessed and treated. We are also pleased to hear that the Telehealth Doctor was thorough and reassuring throughout the consultation.

Your comments highlight the dedication of our staff in providing safe, patient-centred care, and we know the team will greatly appreciate hearing that their professionalism, kindness and attention made a positive difference to both you and your husband.

Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback. We will ensure your compliments are shared with Nancy, Chinu, the Telehealth team and the staff at Dalwallinu Hospital. We are very pleased that your husband received the care he needed, and we wish him a full and continued recovery.

Kind regards

Susan Chambers
