For regional and remote patients and carers only having 1 month notice of appointments is not enough. My child has multiple appointments, I recieve an email saying they have an appointment on manage my care but there is no appointment, I have to wait 1 month out from the appointment date to see it in manage my care.
1 month starting when? When managing so many appointments many clinics will change and rearrange so I can have them within days of each other. I believe this is the only hospital that doesn't add them until 1 month out. I think you need to up your game for us remote patients and carers.
Getting an email and no appointment showing then waiting until the 1 month time period. It's very easy to miss an appointment because I'm not reminded to go back in and look. Is the expectation that I look every day?
Even sending snail mail takes at least a week, or remotely 2 weeks to get to me then I have 2 weeks notice of an appointment. Not doable in some cases. I think this needs to be changed ASAP.
