About: Albany Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I presented to the emergency department at Albany Health Campus and just wanted to acknowledge a shout-out to a couple of staff members who cared for me during my visit.  Firstly Dr Patrick.  He has such a wonderful bedside manner.  His care, thoroughness and reassurance were exceptional.  Patrick made me feel both empowered and supported with every step of my journey.  Secondly, nurse Emma.  Considering how busy it was, Emma had a smile on her face every time she approached and couldn't do enough for me.  She went above and beyond to make me feel calm, comfortable and cared for.  These two staff members are examples of healthcare workers who enjoy their profession.  Thank you for being so compassionate and respectful during a time in which I felt vulnerable.
