"Kind care at Leongatha hospital"

About: Leongatha Memorial Hospital / Urgent Care Centre

(as the patient),

This morning, I attended the urgent care centre at Leongatha hospital.  I was quite panicked,  as I had awoken with an extremely swollen airway that gave me a choking feeling. Nurses Bernadette and Fiona were prompt in assessing me, with a very kind and reassuring manner. Nurse coordinator Kate also checked in on me and provided support. I think the power of kindness should not be underestimated, and I very much appreciated the care I received from these women.
