"Fall prevention and building maintenance"

2 falls from an elderly relative while in this hospital, no communication, and I feel the place is stuck in the 1990s.

I seen holes in walls, holes in the ceiling, scuffed paint, chipped doors, crooked patient boards, outdated beds, general dirtiness, light switches that do nothing, old equipment, and seemingly outdated practices with patient files. I've even seen drugs and drug locker keys left out with no one around. There doesn't seem to be a lot of patient privacy either - as paper charts are left out by the door seemingly for anyone to look at.

 (All of this has been noticed just by visiting a relative every day for 2 weeks).

Very disappointed with a private hospital being, in my opinion, so outdated and seemingly useless when it comes to preventing falls - or even reducing fall risks.
