(as the patient),

I encountered a large dog, with a particularly large bite and an apparent desire to rip my arm off, resulting in a series of deep and painful tear and puncture wounds around my wrist and a considerable degree of shock! The ED team at Albany Health Campus were terrific - professional, compassionate and gentle.  

Special thanks to Dr Tom, Nurse Practitioner Agi, and several lovely nurses. 

I was given pain relief, wound care, I/v antibiotics, x-rays, and a tetanus shot - all with great efficiency and reassurance.  

I could not have asked for better care.

Sustaining deep wounds and experiencing the shock of such an event can be overwhelming, and it is encouraging to know that our staff helped make you feel supported and cared for throughout your treatment.
