"Fiona Stanley Hospital - Day Procedure @ Endoscopy Unit"

I would like to provide feedback following my day procedure in the FSH Endoscopy Unit .

From my arrival at the reception desk through to my departure, I felt exceptionally well cared for. The professionalism, kindness and reassurance demonstrated by the entire team made what could otherwise have been an understandably anxious experience very comfortable.

I would particularly like to acknowledge Poh, the nurse who cared for me prior to the EBUS. She took the time to go through every aspect of the informed consent process with me thoroughly and patiently. I appreciated the opportunity to ask questions and felt completely comfortable proceeding with the consent after everything had been clearly explained.

I would also like to acknowledge Adam and Alex (Anaesthetist?), who attended to the insertion of my cannula and administration of the medications. Everything was performed very smoothly and efficiently. In fact, I believe I was already asleep by the time we reached the theatre, which I took as a testament to how calmly and professionally everything was managed.

It was also reassuring to see a familiar face in Lokesh, who was very approachable and more than happy to answer any questions I had. His willingness to assist was greatly appreciated and provided an additional sense of reassurance.

The post-procedure care was equally excellent. Courtney, Erin and Darlie were outstanding in making me feel comfortable and relaxed during my recovery. Their friendly conversation and reassuring manner helped ensure that I experienced no anxiety at all. Their care and attention were greatly appreciated.

And, of course, I must mention the egg sandwich — it was very tasty and a particularly welcome part of the recovery!

Please extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone involved in my care. I was very impressed by the professionalism, compassion and teamwork demonstrated throughout my visit. I am grateful to the entire Endoscopy Unit team for making my experience as comfortable and positive as possible.
