"Recent admission to Fiona Stanley Hospital"

My father was admitted to FSH Ward 5A via the Emergency Department with an infective exacerbation of COPD post a viral respiratory illness. 

We would like to sincerely thank the staff involved in his care.  ED nurse Callista was particularly kind, arranging sandwiches, cheese and crackers for Dad late in the evening after learning he had missed lunch and dinner while waiting in an ambulance and then in ED. 

Dr Megan (Medical team) in ED took the time to clearly explain what was happening and the ongoing plan of care which was greatly appreciated.

We would also like to acknowledge RN Liz on Ward 5A for being extremely supportive, kind and helpful, and RN Tracey on 5A for her kindness and caring .

Please pass on our thanks to these staff members. Their care, compassion and communication made a difficult time much easier for Dad and our family.
