"Emergency experience was terrible!"

Went to Box Hill Hospital emergency room and discovered that, in my opinion, it operated like a third world poor clinic. I believe there were no doctors available between midnight and 8AM. The staff were seemingly disinterested in the patients in the waiting room and it kept filling up with no doctors appearing until some time after 8 and then only slowly. 

I arrived with my sick spouse at 6:30AM and they were given sparse attention. By 9:30 we’d had enough and called a taxi to take us home after being told that staff had no idea when we would be seen. 

That was on top of calling an ambulance at 6:00AM and being told that there were no ambulances available and that a taxi would take us to hospital.
