"Thank you - Amazing Service. Paediatric Nurse Clinic"

I would like to provide some positive feedback about the Paediatric Nurse Clinic and the wonderful service it provides to families in rural communities.

Our family has recently attended two appointments with the clinic, including one with the paediatric nurse Sharnee and another with both the nurse and paediatrician. We have been incredibly impressed by the quality of care and support we received.

As parents of a child with a number of additional challenges, we had become increasingly worn down by the difficulty of accessing appropriate local support & travelling 4 hours for service. At times, the process of navigating services had felt overwhelming, particularly when options were difficult to access or came at a significant cost. We had begun to feel quite discouraged about seeking further support.

Our most recent appointment was a genuinely positive experience. We left feeling listened to, supported and, most importantly, hopeful. We never felt rushed, and the care and understanding shown to our family made a real difference.

It was also the small practical things that stood out — including the nurse assisting with follow-up arrangements and helping make the process easier for our family. That level of care and advocacy was greatly appreciated.

Thank you to everyone involved in providing this service and for advocating for accessible, high-quality paediatric care in rural areas. Services like this can make an enormous difference to families who are already navigating complex circumstances.
