(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter wanted to express her gratitude to the midwifery Department at Swan Hill District Health, who have been an amazing team for her birth journey. As a new mum, she had a birth plan that the midwives did everything they could to support her - displaying compassion, support and dignity. My daughter felt very comfortable with the team of nurses, through 4 shift changes and was very happy with the support provided by the OB Dr. When things didn't go to plan the team were very professional and compassionate, taking the time to explain necessary changes to her birth plan, providing all necessary details in a very caring manner. Support and compassion were also extended to her birth support people and were all made very much a part of 'the team'. 

Thank you, SHDH Midwifery, you are an amazing team!
