"rude clinician"

I sat with my parent who is in their 80s in Busselton ED waiting to be admitted to hospital for a procedure. We sat quietly for 3hrs waiting to be called. I understand that more sick people need to seen and had been happy to wait. A nurse, who had only just started shift in the afternoon was, I felt, so rude to my parent and myself. I had asked nicely when we may be seen, in my opinion, the nurse was very condescending and seemingly didn't give any thought to my parent who has osteoporosis, who was in pain due to sitting for 3 hours. I felt that the nurse did not appreciate anything that I had to say, which was done respectfully. We left feeling insulted and not wanting to return.
