"Pregnancy, labour and postpartum care with MGP"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

I was well supported throughout pregnancy. I felt comfortable being vulnerable, asking for help (24/7) and getting more information. I was linked in with appropriate services (physio/doctors) where appropriate. I felt well informed to make decisions about labour and care options for baby. When main midwife not available I was consistently connected with another midwife equally caring knowledgeable and reassuring.

Dear vulpeculaje84,

I was delighted to read how well supported and comfortable your felt under the care of the Midwifery Group Practice (MGP). I was also pleased to read that your primary midwife was able to link you with other services across the Women and Newborn Health Service for support when required and that when your primary midwife was not available you still found the care provided by her buddy midwives just as knowledgeable and reassuring.

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive feedback.

Wishing you and your family all the best.

Kind regards,

Kirstie
