"Maternity care at Osborn Park Hospital"

About: Osborne Park Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I feel incredibly lucky to have had Erin as my midwife at Osborne Park Hospital. She brought such a calm and positive feeling to every appointment, and I always left feeling reassured and confident.

What stood out to me most was how genuine she was. She took the time to get to know me, answered all my questions with patience and always made me feel that I was in safe hands. Being able to contact her on her work mobile whenever I had a question or needed some reassurance was something I really appreciated.

Having Erin continue to support me after my baby was born was also very special. The home visits were so helpful during those first weeks, and it was comforting to have someone familiar checking in on us.

The MAPS program made my experience feel much more personal, and I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to be part of it. I’m genuinely grateful to Erin for all her care and support throughout my pregnancy, birth and those early days with my baby. I truly hope this program continues so other mums can have the same experience.

Dear Feno,

Congratulations on the birth of your baby and thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with Midwife Erin and the Maternity Antenatal Postnatal Service (MAPS).

I was delighted to read how reassuring and supportive Erin was throughout your pregnancy journey both during your antenatal appointments and over the phone when you had any concerns. It was also wonderful to read how comforting it was to have Erin there as a familiar face during your post-natal visits.

Your story highlights the benefits we aim to provide through the MAPS service, including continuity of care and the ability to build a strong and supportive rapport with your primary midwife.

I will be sure to share your gratitude with Erin and the wider MAPS team.

Wishing you and your family all the best.

Kind regards,

Kirstie
