"Experience of MAPS at Osborne Park Hospital"

About: Osborne Park Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I had a really good experience through the MAPS service - if it wasn’t for the continuity care program, I would have chosen to do shared care instead with my GP throughout my pregnancy as long as possible before seeing the midwife at the hospital. Going through the MAPS service and getting appointed a primary midwife made the experience smoother and I felt more comfortable too as I was seeing the same person at each appointment.

Dear liberatordk87,

I was so pleased to read how positive you found the experience with the Maternity Antenatal Postnatal Service (MAPS).

MAPS centres around providing continuity of care throughout the pregnancy and post-natal journey and I was delighted to read how comfortable and supported you felt throughout.

I will ensure your kind words are shared with the MAPS team.

Kind regards,

Kirstie
