"First anaphylaxis"

About: Margaret River Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

My 7 year old daughter had her first anaphylaxis episode. Despite having other medical problems and experiences in hospital and being reasonably comfortable in those settings- the frightening experience of anaphylaxis for her was made easier by the caring- closely attentive- confident and experience staff.

I couldn’t feel more grateful for all those who contributed to her care. Thank you.

Dear MRmum,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us.

Having your child experience anaphylaxis for the first time is every parent's fear and we can only imagine how overwhelming and frightening that moment must have been for your family.

We are so pleased that our team was able to provide the attentive, skilled and compassionate care your daughter needed during such a critical time.

Your gratitude means so much to our staff and will proudly share your comments with everyone involved in her care. Knowing they were able to bring comfort and reassurance to both you and your daughter is why they do what they do every day.

We wish your daughter continued good health and thank you for entrusting us with her care.

Kind regards,

Sandy Znidarsich
