I am writing to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for the outstanding care received by my husband at Sutherland Hospital Casualty Department following a severe hand injury.

The compassion, professionalism, and efficiency shown by the medical team, especially the two male admissions nurses who first attended to my husband, were truly exemplary. Their welcoming approach, clear communication, and reassuring manner set a high standard and made a tremendous positive difference during a very stressful situation. The initial assessment and support provided not only ensured his comfort and safety, but also laid the foundation for the rest of his treatment.

By 2:15pm, my husband had received prompt pain relief, x-rays, a thorough wound cleaning, antibiotics by drip, and a detailed medical assessment. The referral to Sydney Hand Hospital for specialist care was managed thoughtfully, including clear instructions about fasting and timing.

I would like to particularly acknowledge the two male nurses for their professionalism, compassion, and skill. Their care was an exceptional way to begin my husband’s treatment journey and provided immense peace of mind to our family.
