"McGrath Cancer Care Nurse"

After a breast cancer diagnosis from Breast Screen WA in Perth, I was linked up with the local McGrath Cancer Care nurse in Esperance that deals specifically with breast cancer. She was so knowledgeable and kind throughout my cancer journey, and really helped me understand what each step involved and what to expect. She also organised Telehealth, and was present for it, which saved me a trip to Perth, clarified appointment times and schedules, and organised my accomodation for radiotherapy. This service is so important to regional patients, and we are so fortunate to have quality staff fulfilling these roles.
