"Support from rural primary health nurse in Wagga Wagga"

I am a clinical mental health worker and I co-manage some mental health cases with Sarah who is from the Murrumbidgee Medicare Local. With Sarah I am able to bounce off ideas with and nut out ideas. In my role I provide mental health support to the husband whilst Sarah provides primary care support to his wife. Sarah has helped the wife with relationship issues; financial problems and debt mediation, which as a single mental health provider running my own business, I often don’t have time to do. Sarah has been able to use her network to provide additional support in other areas for example she was able to put them in touch with someone to help them sell their house, and help get food vouchers and money.

I have found Sarah to be very timely, accurate and she has great communication skills and always follows through with things. Whenever I have asked her for any help she always seems to make time to support me. Sarah is very reliable and I cannot think of any way which she can improve.
