I had a form of pre eclampsia and my baby had to be delivered at 31 weeks. We're very grateful for the skilled care I received for this rare complication, our baby was also cared for extremely well in the nursery. Unfortunately I also suffered another rare complication a few days later - post partum psychosis. Despite a letter from my treating psychiatrist explaining that I was at risk of this happening, the way this complication was dealt with, in my opinion, was far inferior to the care of my physical health.
