I really was having a difficult time at the hospital and was complaining to my visitor. Lucia, a nurse, overheard and said gently but clearly that she was sorry I was having a hard time. A kind expression of sympathy can make all the difference. I think she's a student nurse and the health system will be lucky to have her!
