(as a relative),

My mother was brought in via ambulance one afternoon. 2 hour wait in the corridor before a bed was found. Reya was the nurse who assessed my mother and she couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely lady to deal with and was incredibly kind and treated my mother with respect. Other nurses who saw my mother, not so much, but Reya was wonderful.

Thank you for making contact and sharing your feedback regarding the care your mother received at Ipswich Hospital.

The nursing staff in the Emergency Department are very busy and work hard to provide a high level of care, so it is always good to receive positive feedback about our staff. Your comments in relation to Reya will be passed onto her.

We are sorry to note that your experiences with other nurses, whilst you were waiting with your mother, were not as positive. Both aspects of your feedback have been forwarded to the Nurse Unit Manager of the Emergency Department.

All of our patients are important to us and feedback such as yours helps us understand where we can make a difference in our services.
