"Fantastic hospital care for elderly people at Royal Hobart Hospital."

Our father was admitted to the Royal Hobart Hospital, to the aged care ward, following an infection. We know as a family that this can be a dangerous time for elderly people, and our Dad was very sick. The staff on the ward, the allied health staff, cleaners, doctors, nurses and enrolled nurses that we saw were fantastic. We felt that nothing was too much trouble. They made us feel welcome whenever we visited or stayed for extended periods. They consulted us about Dad's care and seemed to listened to us, and to him, and encouraged him to speak up about his own feelings and care needs. Congratulations to all involved in Dad's care. He has successfully settled in transition care and looking forward to going home.
