I was recently transferred by ambulance from Katoomba Hospital to Nepean Hospital for emergency surgery. My gratitude begins with the surgery team led by Dr David. Prior to my operation, Dr David informed me of what was involved in a most professional and caring way with particular emphasis on respecting my dignity as a human being. This kind surgeon also gave my family progress reports during and after the operation. Thank you Dr David.

As an educator of many years I am deeply in favour of the process of mentorship. During my stay at Nepean Hospital I constantly witnessed best practices in mentorship by staff who were gently eager to share their expertise. The result was a quality of nursing that was patient, cheerful and professional.
