About: ATAPs (Far West Medicare Local)

(as the patient),

I was referred through ATAPs mental health care plan from my doctor.

I have been seeing my psychologist for a few months. I have gone from being a prisoner to my depression to being able to look forward to life.

I think CBT therapy has worked for me even though in the beginning I was skeptical. I have gone from being on 200 mg of Zoloft and feeling like a zombie to 50 mg and with the great service provided to me through ATAPs have been able to understand my condition and my thoughts and actions

I really appreciate your taking the time to provide this feedback. It is very reassuring that our services are making a difference to the lives of people in our rural remote communities.
