"Feeling very lucky and grateful after visit"

About: Team Care Coordination (Brisbane North PHN)

(as a relative),

Sue came to our home to help my husband who has multiple medical issues, but has bipolar too and has been extremely depressed for many years.

At first my husband sat with his arms folded and sat holding his face very tight (not wanting to really hear what Sue had to say).

Sue with her gentle manner started to get my husband to talk a little and managed to change his thinking, and this week we are going to the local hydro pool. We are hopeful this may help to get him moving and to feel better in himself.

Sue has also helped us with items for my husband to get dressed with less difficulty. Also Sue has arranged for a visit the incontinence nurses, who are coming out soon. I am grateful to have any help.

I feel very lucky that Sue came to visit us. Thank you so much Sue.
