"Great care from the CYMHS team and Adolescent Unit at Eastern Health"

(as a parent/guardian),

My teenage child is having a difficult time socially, emotionally and with their schooling. The team at CYMHS and in particular Dr Gabrielle, have provided great care and support to our whole family. An outstanding health practitioner and service.

My child also spent a week at the Adolescent Unit where the care, support and guidance to them and us as their parents was wonderful. They helped to identify some key issues and set us on the right path.

Many thanks for your feedback which is greatly appreciated. Feedback like yours will provide a real boost to our staff in CYMHS and the Adolescent Unit who are really committed to delivering the best possible service and care to the patients and their families. I will take great pleasure in providing the feedback to our front line staff and also to their managers. I am also very pleased to read about the support that you received as parents as we know this is central to our commitment to provide effective patient and family centred care. Special thanks for your aknowledgment of Dr Gabrielle - I will ensure that this is passed on.

We are relatively new to Patient Opinion and receiving and responding to feedback in a timely manner is proving very effective. It is also providing timely feedback on where we do things well and where we need to improve.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your story and I do hope that your child continues to go from strength to strength.
