The other night I was admitted to Maroondah hospital via ambulance for uncontrollable vomiting, stabbing pains in the stomach and diarrhoea.
The previous weekend I had also been in hospital (Ferntree Gully) for a suspected appendicitis, but was discharged after all tests came back negative.
My emergency department nurse "Bec", was fantastic; Patient, kind, caring and empathetic. My Doctor "Ian" was also extremely nice, caring and thorough, checking for any indication of a grumbly appendix, even though it wasn't presenting as a typical appendicitis. I felt very well looked after and wanted to thank them for giving me the best possible experience in what was an otherwise horrible night.
"Bec and Ian at Maroondah Hospital were wonderful."
