"My respite at Wantirna Health"

(as the patient),

The people were all lovely - compassionate, helpful, fun and flexible. That includes catering and cleaning staff as well as medical and other support staff.

My only complaint is funding - it needs more; there aren't enough people to do the work, and some things are slipping through the cracks as a result.

Many thanks Brainer for sharing your story on Patient Opinion. Feedback like yours gives staff a real boost in their day and rightly so, it's always great to get a pat on the back! I will be sure to pass on your very generous feedback to our staff, who are truly committed to providing the best possible care and I will be sure to let their managers know too.

Your story is also a reminder to us all about the importance of the whole team getting it right and I will make sure that your praise is passed on to all too.

Finally, I also note your comment on funding and the constant challenge of balancing the money we have with the needs of our community. We will always try to make sure we do strike the right balance and if you do have any specific concerns, please do let me know.
