"Staff made my child's week manageable because of how wonderful they were"

(as a parent/guardian),

Recently we took my child to Maroondah Emergency with stomach cramps. They ended up having surgery that night to have their appendix out and had to stay a week. In that week staying there with my child I could not fault anything about that place. Every single person there was amazing from the doctor, nurses to the lovely staff cleaning rooms and delivering food. My teenage child although couldn't wait to get out of there said all of those people made their week manageable because of how wonderful they were.

Many thanks for sharing your story on Patient Opinion - it's always terrific to read about positive experiences and it is great also for our staff to read about what their patients are saying in the community.

I will be sure to pass on your feedback to our front-line staff and their managers too and your feedback will no doubt give them a "lift" in their day. Often, we are so busy that there is little time to reflect so thank you again for taking the time to share your story.
