"Unhappy with care from management, doctors and nurses"

About: Maroondah Hospital / Mental Health Adult Inpatient Units (IPU1 and IPU2)

(as the patient),

I just moved to the east. Normally I am in a hospital in the west and have always been happy. Due to the move I was in Maroondah IPU2 a number of weeks ago and asked to speak with the manager due to a serious issue I had. I was given a complaints form but it was never followed up. I hope to never use this service again.

I am really sorry to read about your experience as included in your story on Patient Opinion. I will pass this on to the Manager of the IPU units at Maroondah Hospital, Deb Siddall. Deb takes an active interest in feedback and all stories shared on Patient Opinion so I am confident she will follow this up.
